Jörg Rogge (Prof. Dr.) lehrt Geschichte des Mittelalters und Methoden der Geschichtswissenschaft an der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Theorie und Methode der historischen Kulturwissenschaften sowie Politik und Kultur des spätmittelalterlichen Europas. Er ist Sprecher des Forschungsschwerpunktes Historische Kulturwissenschaften der Universität Mainz.
