Sugar High is a chapter book series exploring the outlandish adventures in a high school full of sugary characters as they intertwine in a battle of the "Sweets" vs the "Healthies".
Sweets vs Healthies
In one corner, we have the "Sweets" starring Candy Queen, Karamelah Stikiman, Lolli Poppington, Gabby Ball, and Bethany Brownie. Then in the other corner, we have the "Healthies" starring Maya Papaya, Kerry Cake, Laura Lemon, Gretchen Vines, and Ugli Fontaine.
Conflicts and zany adventures are constantly breaking out as some of the girls cherish engaging in drama between the two sides but then there are those that prefer to just get along. Ultimately, each girl must decide which direction they want to take or risk being shunned.
This first book in the series introduces the characters and their amusingly backgrounds to help readers get to know them better.
