Pell hasn't been paying attention.
Oh, he's paying attention to the road?but that's only so much help when his brakes fail and his car ends up teetering on the edge of a bridge.
He hasn't been paying attention to his life. And now it's flashing before his eyes as he tries to figure out how the hells he's going to get out of this mess.
Fortunately for him, he's not alone, despite being in the middle of nowhere. When someone comes to help him out, he discovers he's been rescued by ... a blob?
But Pell hasn't just crashed into a 1950s sci fi movie. He's about to meet one of the lesser-known rifters?people who came to Earth through a spacetime fissure that opened years ago, and closed again just as mysteriously.
And that meeting is about to change his life for the better.
This is a ~15k-word standalone cozy, spicy romance story about a man with limb deficiency and an amorphous nonbinary being from another world. It contains explicit, consensual sex scenes and is intended for a mature audience.

Person
T. M. Ròcas (they/them) writes cozy, spicy monster shorts. Struggling to find the stories they wanted to read, Ròcas decided to write their own. Their diverse cast of characters are just trying to find their way in the world: an alternative Earth full of humans living alongside folk who look like they just walked out of ancient myth and old sci fi movies. Along the way, they discover their love interests in the least expected places (usually by bumping into, tripping over, and/or accidentally scaring the bejeebies out of them). So if you want to forget about the world for a while and dive into something with a lot of heart (and, okay, sex), then these might just be the books you're looking for...
