This collection is just a sample of the "almost" culmination of over 15 years of writing and exploration by five very different but awesome people who met at their children's school in Allentown, Pennsylvania over twenty years ago and started to write. Writing drew them together, forged their friendships, and kept them whole. And it still does.

These fabulous five have been friends and writer-friends for over 15 years, writing in our nearby Wegmans grocery store on many Saturdays. Encouraged and motivated by a visit to the Swain School in Allentown by dynamic visiting poet laureate, Judyth Hill, they met - on again, off again - learning, expanding, sharing, living, and writing as their children grew, graduated, and moved on into adulthood. While life often got in the way of creativity, it didn't squash it totally, and so it was decided that they should do what they all dreamed of doing, individually and collectively - publish some of their best.
This is "almost" the culmination, because they've each got more life to live, more milestones to pass, and more writing to do. Not done yet.
