Paul Reuss a mené toute sa carrière au CEA (Commissariat à l'énergie atomique). Polytechnicien et docteur ès sciences physiques, il a consacré une grande partie de ses recherches à la conception et au calcul des coeurs des centrales nucléaires; il est l'auteur de plus de 100 publications techniques et pédagogiques, dont le ' Traité de neutronique ', ouvrage de référence en la matière. Expert internationalement reconnu, Paul Reuss se consacre désormais à l'enseignement. (au moment de la parution de l'ouvrage)
