Dr. Prashant Pranav is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. He completed his PhD from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra in the field of Cryptography. His research interests include Cryptography, Cyber Security, Biometric Security, Digital Forensics, Algorithm Analysis, Network Security, Statistical Analysis and Musical Cryptography. He has published many research articles and conference proceedings in journals of repute. He also has authored four reference books with well known publishers.
Dr. Sarika Jain graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru University (India) in 2001. Her doctorate, awarded in 2011, is in the field of knowledge representation in Artificial Intelligence. She has served in the field of education for over 19 years and is currently in service at the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, India. Dr. Jain has authored or co-authored over 150 publications, including books. Dr. Jain has supervised four doctoral scholars who are well-placed now. She has received grants from DRDO, DST, CSIR, and NIT Kurukshetra for research projects; from AICTE (thrice) for FDPs; from DAAD RISE worldwide (thrice) for hosting research interns from Germany; and MHRD (twice) for hosting a reputed international faculty and for FDP. She works in collaboration with various researchers across the globe, including in Germany, Austria, Australia, Malaysia, Spain, the USA, and Romania. She is a senior member of the IEEE, a member of ACM, and a Life Member of the CSI. Among the awards and honors she has received are the Best Paper Awards, Feb 2021 (two), Aug 2020, Aug 2017; and the Best Faculty Award, Sep 2019 from NIT Kurukshetra.
