Person
Professor Peter Spurgeon was the founding Director of the Institute for Clinical Leadership at the Medical School, University of Warwick, having previously been director of the Health Services Management Centre at the University of Birmingham. He was seconded as Project Director to lead the Enhancing Engagement in Medical Leadership programme and in conjunction with the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges. This project produced the Medical Leadership Competency Framework (MLCF) and the Medical Engagement Scale (MES). He hold honorary Professoriate posts in Italy and Australia
and has worked on many overseas assignments.
