Description
Miri is homeless, jobless and abandoned by her fiancé. To her surprise a lawyer's letter informs her that her grandmother ? who she didn't know existed ? has left her a cottage. Gavin, the lawyer, helps her settle in and sign all the necessary documents and then becomes a friend to Miri.
Soon after she moves in an unknown person repeatedly breaks in to search Miri's new home. Who is this person and what are they searching for? Can she ask Gavin to protect her now his official duties are over?

Sue Perkins grew up in Devon, England and emigrated to New Zealand with her family. Sue and her husband live at the top of New Zealand's South Island.
Her interests include writing, reading, genealogy and aqua jogging.
Sue's first romance novel was released in May 2007, quickly followed by a fantasy trilogy, more romance books, young adult and middle grade novels.
