The ERECO #European #Research #Community is an established network in interdisciplinary European research, bringing together 133 academics from 33 universities across the continent. Since 1994, ERECO has fostered a unique environment where economics, business, governance, technology, and culture meet to address the major transformations shaping Europe today. Driven by a belief that crises are moments for opportunity rather than decline, ERECO's researches offer forward-looking analyses on innovation, sustainability, regional resilience, and the future of work. Their collective expertise supports universities, public institutions, and businesses seeking to understand and anticipate Europe's next challenges. At a time when adaptability and vision are more critical than ever, ERECO positions itself as a strategic partner for those who aim to build a more resilient, inclusive, and future-ready Europe.

The ERECO #European #Research #Community network is a multilateral European partnership that has, since its creation in 1994, brought together university researchers around a major question: the transformations occurring in the economy, business management, and culture of European countries. Today, the network includes 133 members and 33 European universities. The book presented here refers to the 29th conference of the network, which took place in Banská Bystrica, Slovak Republic, in January 2024.
Following extensive discussions and exchanges during the conference, the chapters included in this book were reviewed by a scientific committee. Each author was invited to revise their contribution after presenting their work to experts from various European disciplines. The different authors featured across the chapters contribute to a broader reflection on how Europe has answered to crises. The interdisciplinary nature of the contributions highlights the diversity of perspectives and offers fresh insights into the major events that have unfolded in Europe over recent years.

System requirements:
- Computer (Windows; MacOS X; Linux): Use the free software Adobe Reader, Adobe Digital Editions, or any other PDF viewer of your choice (see eBook Help).
- Tablet/Smartphone (Android; iOS): Install the free app Adobe Digital Editions or another reading app for eBooks, e.g., PocketBook (see eBook Help).

The file format PDF always displays a book page identically on any hardware. This makes PDF suitable for complex layouts such as those used in textbooks and reference books (images, tables, columns, footnotes). Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook uses Watermark-DRM, a „soft” copy protection. This means that there are no technical restrictions to prevent illegal distribution. However, there is a personalised watermark embedded in the eBook that can be used to identify the purchaser of the eBook in the event of misuse and to provide evidence for legal purposes.
