Person
Deepak Pandey earned his doctoral degree in Quantum Optics at the Raman Research Institute in Bangalore, India. He then moved to L'Institut d'Optique Bordeaux, France to research on the topic of ultra-cold atoms and optical resonators.
Subsequently, he continued to expand his expertise in the field of cavity quantum electrodynamics (cavity-QED) during his postdoctoral tenure at the University of Bonn, Germany. Here, he specialized and contributed in the intricate design of fiber-based resonators and explored their applications in the realm of atomic physics and quantum technology.
His research journey also led him to delve into the applications of fiber-resonators in sensing and quantum information processing.
Presently, he works as a Project Leader at Menlo Systems GmbH in Munich, where he leads research endeavors centered around optical resonator systems and their applications.
System requirements
File format: ePUB
Copy protection: Watermark-DRM (Digital Rights Management)
System requirements:
- Computer (Windows; MacOS X; Linux): Use a reading software that can process the file format ePUB: e.g., Adobe Digital Editions or FBReader – both free (see eBook Help).
- Tablet/Smartphone (Android; iOS): Before downloading, install the free app Adobe Digital Editions (see eBook Help).
- E-reader: Bookeen, Kobo, Pocketbook, Sony, Tolino and many more (not Kindle).
The file format ePUB works well for novels and non-fiction books – i.e., „flowing” text without complex layout. On an e-reader or smartphone, line and page breaks automatically adjust to fit the small displays.
This eBook uses Watermark-DRM, a „soft” copy protection. This means that there are no technical restrictions to prevent illegal distribution.
