Description
Callie Smithers is haunted by the memory of being attacked by a werewolf during the COVID pandemic, and by the fact no one believes her. Now, her and two friends are headed on vacation, with a stop in the hidden valley of Hemelshol to drop off the ashes of her friend Rebecca's grandfather. Thorne and Waters are FBI agents investigating a Mennonite farmer who has been buying ANFO-the ingredient in fertiliser bombs. Their investigation will take them into the hidden valley of Hemelshol, where the Mennonite community lives. Hemelshol isn't just another Oregon valley, however. Lush and vibrant, it's ruled by a sect who take the Old Testament very seriously, and are awaiting visitors, intent on showing them not only the path of righteousness-but the face of an ancient evil. In Hemelshol, not all sacrifices are created equal.
