ANDRE NORTON (1912-2005) was a Science Fiction Writers of America Grand Master and received a Life Achievement Award from the World Fantasy Convention. Her science fiction (the Witch World, Forerunner, and Beastmaster series) and fantasy (stand-alones

Quag Keep, and the Witch World Chronicles series) have been popular for decades. She also collaborated with other authors, most notably Mercedes Lackey on the
