Her introduction to the religion, science and philosophy of Spiritualism was in 1983 when she attended a local Spiritualist Church. As a result she became involved in exploring her personal development and sat in a home circle with friends only to find that when asked to speak her shyness meant that they waited some 20 minutes for her to utter one word! To be prepared and to give her confidence she wrote her thoughts down in a book to share with her friends and have a voice when asked to speak!
