Julie Burchill started work aged just 17 at New Musical Express and has since had a long and impressive career in journalism, writing for many publications on various topics such as punk music, film reviews and feminism
Julie has written more than a dozen books including Sugar Rush, Ambition and On David Beckham. She is no stranger to controversy, and Unchosen has already proved to be a divisive and polemical book.

Chas Newkey-Burden is a journalist, columnist and author who has written columns for Attitude, Time Out and The Big Issue. His books include Simon Cowell: The Unauthorised Biography, Help! I'm Turning Into My Dad, and The All-New Official Arsenal Miscellany. He also co-wrote, with Julie Burchill, Not In My Name: A Compendium of Modern Hypocrisy.
