What happens when success arrives before understanding?
Book of Law II: The Lost Years is the deeply personal continuation of Lawrence I. Morris's journey through the years that shaped his worldview, tested his convictions, and ultimately transformed his understanding of God, humanity, suffering, love, and purpose.Spanning a remarkable period of professional achievement, international travel, entrepreneurial ambition, devastating loss, spiritual confusion, and profound revelation, this volume chronicles the hidden years between youthful aspiration and spiritual awakening.
From Wall Street and the global technology industry to real estate ventures and multimillion-dollar enterprises, Morris recounts the victories and failures that defined a critical chapter of his life.Yet this is not merely a story about business, money, or worldly accomplishment. It is a story about meaning.Through experiences that include global travel, the loss of beloved companions, broken relationships, grief, sacrifice, and a relentless search for truth, Morris examines the psychological, philosophical, and spiritual forces that shape human existence. Along the way, he confronts questions surrounding sexuality, identity, faith, suffering, destiny, and the nature of divine guidance.
Written in a candid and introspective voice, Book of Law II: The Lost Years explores the tension between material success and spiritual fulfillment, arguing that many of life's greatest defeats are not failures of effort but failures of alignment with higher principles. As the narrative unfolds, readers witness the author's spiritual awakening and his evolving understanding of God, culminating in a transformative period that forever altered the course of his life.
Part autobiography, part philosophical inquiry, and part spiritual testimony, this book invites readers to reflect on their own journeys and consider a timeless question: What if the events we call setbacks, losses, and tragedies are not obstacles at all, but lessons carefully placed before us by God?For seekers, skeptics, believers, entrepreneurs, and anyone searching for purpose in a complicated world, Book of Law II: The Lost Years offers an unflinching examination of the experiences that shape us and the truths we discover when we dare to examine our lives honestly.
