Dermot Diamond, PhD, is Professor of Sensor Science and Materials Chemistry at Dublin City University and Field Chief Editor of the Journal "Frontiers in Sensors". He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and Member of the Royal Irish Academy.
