Carlos A. Jáuregui is Associate Professor of Latin American Literature and Anthropology. One of the most relevant publications is Canibalia: Canibalismo, calibanismo, antropofagia cultural y consumo en América Latina (Córdoba, Spain, 2005: second revised edition: Vervuert 2008), winner of the Premio Casa de las Américas 2005. He is co-editor of Colonialidad y crítica en América Latina.
