Few men, it is confidently affirmed, have penetrated deeper into the very heart of this great subject, and a more comprehensive, able and practical discussion of the subject will not be found.
A chief excellence of this treatise is its scripturalness. Dr. Monod interrogated the Bible as to the question of Woman's proper Mission and Life, and he found its light, here as elsewhere, clear and sufficient.
