LENARD J. COHEN is Professor of Political Science at Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, British Columbia. He is the author of, among other titles, Serpent in the Bosom: The Rise and Fall of Slobodan Milosevic (2000) and Broken Bonds: Yugoslavian Disintegration and Balkan Politics (1993).
ALLEN G. SENS is Senior Instructor in the Department of Poltical Science and Chair of the International Relations Program at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. His most recent publication is World Politics, Origins, Currents, Directions (1998).
