Prof. Peter Mischke, born in 1951, studied chemistry at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. After obtaining his doctorate, he went into industry where he worked primarily on metal surface pretreatment and then in the evelopment of synthetic resins. In 1991, he was appointed professor of "Paint Chemistry and Process Engineering" at the University of Applied Sciences in Niederrhein, Krefeld. He teaches chemo-technical subjects as well as polymer, binder, interface and colloid chemistry for paint engineers. He also serves as a lecturer at various vocational training events.
