Bruce graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Plan II, the Honors Liberal Arts Program; received a master's degree in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary; and did doctoral work at the University of Texas at Dallas in the History of Ideas (focused on philosophical hermeneutics,Hans-Georg Gadamer, an postmodernism). He taught theology for four years at Dallas Seminary.Alongside a strong team, Bruce started Christ Fellowship (CFhome.com) in McKinney, Texas, where he enjoys serving as senior pastor. Bruce serves his local community in several leadership roles, uniting others to make a difference for the under-resourced.Bruce and his wife, Tamara, enjoy spending time with their grown children and spoiling their wonderful grandchildren. In his spare time, Bruce loves playing racquetball, using a chainsaw, and sitting by an open fire.
