What if Canada's survival depended on a weaponized raccoon, a half-robot ex-coworker, and the last functioning Tim Hortons on Earth?
In this chaotic and heartfelt sequel, the BIOS Apocalypse may have quieted down... until a corrupted voicemail loop under the Arctic ice reboots Carlos - now half-human, half-machine, and twice as dramatic as before.
Newly resurrected, he returns to find his old crew still alive and still questionable:
- Brittany, engineer of explosive breakfast devices and proud mother of a haunted coffee machine
- Pascal, a programmer powered entirely by anxiety and lukewarm caffeine
- Guy, the team's dramatic narrator and reluctant hero
- And a raccoon who may or may not have violated several international treaties
When BIOS-powered zombies, undead drones, and a barista zombie who weaponizes boiling coffee launch an attack, the team flees into the Canadian wilderness - straight into a blizzard that makes survival feel optional.
Between a brutal -47°C storm, a sacred pilgrimage to the last untouched Tim Hortons, a medically suspicious recovery attempt, the arrival of Dayana - a brilliant coder who short-circuits Carlos' emotions - and a final battle fought in knee-deep maple syrup, the team faces their biggest challenge yet: staying together.
Explosive action. Chaotic comedy. Ridiculous heart. A post-apocalyptic adventure where politeness survives, coffee is sacred, machines catch feelings, and maple syrup may be humanity's final weapon.

Person
Guy Matte is old enough to claim?with suspicious confidence?that he doesn't understand technology. This is only partly true; he knows just enough to break things spectacularly. Which is why, when writing a story about tech-savvy zombies and corrupted BIOS updates, he recruited the best people to help him... and then ignored half their advice. Guy has a lifelong passion for crafting ridiculous tales, preferably ones involving coffee, duct tape, and existential dread. When he's not pretending to fear USB-C cables, he's busy turning corporate horror into comedy gold. His motto? If it can't reboot, set it on fire.
