He is Associate Professor of Computer Game Design and previously founded and directed the Virginia Serious Game Institute (VSGI) and the Computer Game Design Programs at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, U.S.A. Dr. Martin earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Johns Hopkins University and his doctorate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.
