Dr. Sébastien Marcel is a Senior Researcher and Head of the Biometrics Group at the Idiap Research Institute, Martigny, Switzerland. He is the Project Coordinator of the EC-funded TABULA RASA project (Trusted Biometrics under Spoofing Attacks). He is also the Director of the Swiss Center for Biometrics Research and Testing and a Lecturer at EPFL.

Dr. Mark S. Nixon is a Professor of Computer Vision in the School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton, UK. He is a co-author of the Springer book Human Identification Based on Gait .

Dr. Stan Z. Li is a Professor at the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, Director of the Center for Biometrics and Security Research, and Director of the R&D Center for Visual Internet of Things, within the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His numerous publications include the successful Springer titles Handbook of Face Recognition , Encyclopedia of Biometrics , Handbook of Remote Biometrics and Markov Random Field Modeling in Image Analysis .
