Qian Li is a professor at the School of Materials Science and Technology of Chongqing University and the deputy director of the National Engineering Research Center for Magnesium Alloy Materials. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2004. He has long been engaged in the research of light alloy thermodynamics and dynamics, and has presided over more than 30 national, provincial, ministerial and enterprise cooperation projects, such as the 863 project of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the National Support Program, the National Key Research and Development Special Project, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Talent Program of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission.
He has published more than 300 SCI-indexed papers in journals Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Acta Mater., J. Mater. Sci. Technol, etc., more than 12,500 citations, and an H-index of 62. He has been selected into the Highly Cited Researchers of Elsevier and the list of world's top 2% of scientists, published 2 Chinese textbooks/monographs and 1 chapter of English monographs. 60 invention patents were authorized. He is an associate editor of JMST and an editorial board member of JMA, JMI, IJMMM and many other journals. He has received many scientific and technological awards, such as the "International Magnesium Science and Technology Award" Annual Excellent Academic Paper Award, the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award (ranked 1st), and the China Nonferrous Metals Innovation Award (individual award).
Fusheng Pan
Fusheng Pan is a Professor of Chongqing University, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, President of Chongqing Institute of Chinese Engineering Science and Technology Development Strategy, Chairman of Chongqing Association for Science and Technology, President of Chongqing Institute of New Energy Storage Materials and Equipment. He is Editor in Chief of Journal of Magnesium and Alloys, Chairman of the committee of ISO/TC 79/SC 5 "Magnesium and Alloys", Chairman of the International Magnesium Society, Vice President of Chinese Materials Research Society (C-MRS), etc. He has an experience of study and work at the University of Oxford, the University of Stuttgart, Queen Mary, Chiba University, the University of California, Los Angeles, and the University of Queensland. His work is focused in the research and application of lightweight metal structure materials, energy storage materials, composite materials and biological materials. He has published more than 1000 academic papers and 12 works, won 4 National Technological Invention Award and Scientific and Technological Progress Award, and more than 170 authorized invention patents, and has formulated and published more than 10 international standards and national standards. He is the winner of "HLHL Award" and "(USA) DuPont Science and Technology Innovation Award". He was the chairman of the International Conference on Magnesium for four consecutive terms, and the co-chairman of the European Materials Conference and the World International Advanced Materials Conference.
