Tom Lewis has a master's in engineering from Stanford University. He developed his writing skills over many years by summarizing complex technical material for large organizations while working for leading companies in the technology industry. He is a runner, skier, wannabe soccer player, and very much loves to share the joy of the great outdoors with his three sons. After an extensive career in Northern California's Silicon Valley, Tom has returned to the Pacific Northwest where he grew up to become an author and a teacher.
