Description
During a teleportation experiment the human volunteer disappears the sending Pod is empty, the receiving Pod is empty, dark. Al awakens on a beach surrounded by Neanderthals 165,000 years ago. He is shivering, they escort him back to their cave. Al is fed and adapts.They are smart for their world and teach him how to adapt. They depend on him and a Homo Sapian from Africa for genetic diversity.

Retired living in Decatur, Alabama. Write as if it were a job, second shift. Few distractions late at night, around the witching hour it is quiet. Lava Hot Springs thermal springs and stream. And Fish Kill Summit where I put my hand in a cloud one winter day.
