The Cloud Factory is a novella that deals with a southern paper mill that made newsprint paper. It closed because Upper-level management did not see the decline of newspapers. Everyone who had a pulse saw it, the newspapers themselves carried stories about it. Workers made suggestions long before the closure. This is a fictional story about what could have been done at Courtland had management emerged from their coma.
