Milton, a former member of robbers joins the Confederacy to hunt for a one Graham Dalton, a former member of the gang. Milton believes Graham Dalton has all the money from the last bank job, but before he can question Dalton, unfortunately, Dalton is killed, so thinking all the money is gone for good, Milton deserts from the Confederacy, spending the next years drifting from town to town, until he arrives in a town called Cave Creek and there, Milton is attacked, beaten and left in the desert to die. But Milton is rescued and recovers. After he recovers, he goes searching for answers to why he was beaten and left to die. He discovers that Frank Cole, a former member of the gang, was living and breathing and not dead as Milton had thought.

He spends a lot of time volunteering for charities in Liverpool.
He's a lover of animals, reading, writing novels and poems.
He's also member of an Unitarian Church in Liverpool which takes up a lot of his time.
