In the forsaken prefecture of Muruid, where shadows of a dark past linger and whispers of an ancient terror echo through the ruins, the noble warrior Palkan leads his loyal soldiers on a mission to crush a growing rebellion. But as they venture deeper into the haunted land, tension mounts among his ranks. The rebels are relentless, but the question gnaws at Palkan's conscience: should he take them alive, or silence them forever? Yet the true threat lies not in the insurgents, but in what stirs beneath Muruid's crumbling stone. The Wanderer-an ancient, unknowable being whose power transcends that of any mortal mage-awakens. Her dark influence reaches beyond death itself, and her presence threatens to undo everything Palkan holds dear. As a battle for survival looms, Palkan is torn between loyalty to his masters and the growing suspicion that the rebellion may not be the true enemy. With his soldiers at risk and the land itself teeming with secrets, he must confront not only the insurgents, but a nightmare older than the world itself. The line between ally and adversary blurs, and Palkan must decide: Is this mission truly about justice... or is it a darker game than anyone could have imagined?
