A quick read of poetry, raining from scattered feelings...
My Only Star In The Sky (Interlude)
I didn't know
When you went away
That I would lose this much
Track of time
So much is gone from me now
So little left to complain about
***
My only star in the sky
On a napless night, you are
Resting in my mind, like you aren't
Working the night shift
Taking away my attention
From the moon towards the disgrace
So distant, let's not be that anymore
So maintained, let's not blame life again
***
Even if we know each other
Let's build all over again
You've been outgrowing me
I've been unsure about other things
Call it a waste of time
And be back beside me
***
My only star in the sky
On a napless night, you are
Resting in my mind, like you aren't
Working the night shift
Taking away my attention
From the moon towards the disgrace
So distant, let's not be that anymore
So maintained, let's not blame life again
