Without effective breeding programs, sustaining melon production becomes challenging. This book integrates various aspects of melon breeding, including genetic diversity, genomics, and germplasm resources, for improving yield, quality, and resistance to biotic stresses.
Key features:
* Wide biodiversity, classes, and molecular diversity exist in melon germplasm.
* Utilization of advanced sequencing technologies in melon breeding.
* Germplasm resources and strategies for improving the melon crop for various traits.
Content for this book has been contributed by eminent scientists who have been engaged in melon research for many decades. This book will be welcomed by scientists aiming to develop the next generation of melon cultivars.

The file format PDF always displays a book page identically on any hardware. This makes PDF suitable for complex layouts such as those used in textbooks and reference books (images, tables, columns, footnotes). Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook uses Adobe-DRM, a „hard” copy protection. If the necessary requirements are not met, unfortunately you will not be able to open the eBook. You will therefore need to prepare your reading hardware before downloading.
