Dr. Ashwani Kumar completed his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with honors from Govind Vallabh Pant University in 1988, his M.Tech in Power Systems from Punjab University in 1993, and his Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur in 2003. He was also a post-doctoral fellow at Tennessee Tech University in 2008. Currently, he is a Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at NIT Kurukshetra and the coordinator of the School of Renewable Energy and Efficiency (SREE). His research focuses on power system operation, restructuring, distributed generation, renewable energy systems, and smart grid technology. He has led numerous sponsored projects, guided 16 Ph.D. and 58 M.Tech. students, and published over 140 academic papers. Dr. Kumar has received multiple awards, including the POSOCO Power System Award from 2013 to 2018 and best paper awards from various conferences. He is actively involved in academic conferences and has visited several countries for academic activities. He holds fellowships and memberships in prominent engineering institutions.
Prof. S. N. Singh earned his M.Tech and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1989 and 1995, respectively. He is currently the Director of Atal Bihari Vajpayee - IIITM Gwalior (on leave from IIT Kanpur). His past positions include roles at UP State Electricity Board, Roorkee University, and the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok. Singh served as Vice-Chancellor of Madan Mohan Malviya University from 2017 to 2020. He has received numerous accolades, including the Young Engineer Award and the Humboldt Fellowship, and became the first Asian to receive the IEEE Educational Activity Board Meritorious Achievement Award in 2013. With over 500 publications, his research interests include power system restructuring and FACTS. He has supervised 40 Ph.D. candidates and authored several books. Singh has played significant roles in IEEE and received multiple awards for his contributions to engineering education.
Dr. Pradeep Kumar earned his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from G.B. Pant Engineering College in Pauri Garhwal and both his M.Tech and Ph.D. degrees from MNNIT Allahabad. Currently, he works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra, India. He has several publications in reputed journals.
