Vimal Kumar started his career as a sports journalist
with the International Management Group's Trans
World International (IMG-TWI). Over the last 15
years, he has worked for the TV Today Network
(Aaj Tak and Headlines Today) and Network18
(IBN7 and CNN-IBN). Besides his regular work on
television, he also writes a weekly feature for Mint,
and contributes to Sports Illustrated, Outlook,
Mid-Day and The Tribune. Vimal Kumar made his
debut as an author with Sachin: Cricketer of the
Century (Penguin, 2013), which has been widely
appreciated in cricket-playing nations. Vimal has
covered two cricket World Cups, in 2007 and 2011,
and has reported on cricket in most of the Testplaying
nations. His Twitter handle is @Vimalwa.'
