The Out Crowd follows ordinary kids as a seemingly-normal high school experiences its own culture war between the In Crowd and the Out Crowd. What starts with small rumors about cheerleading captain Hallie Flynn eventually consumes the entire school. Isaiah and his friends are caught in the middle. When the price of belonging grows too high, they are thrust into a battle they never asked for. A battle between principle and popularity. Speaking truth to gossip becomes an act of rebellion in a school that rewards conformity.
