Description
One brisk fall day, Mother Nature calls to all her animal friends-it's autumn now, and there's no time to play! All creatures must start preparing for the winter to come. Children must button their sweaters as the mornings grow colder, and leaves have begun to fall from the trees. Animals get ready to rest for the winter or to make their way to someplace warmer. Farmers bring in their harvests, and everyone knows Jack Frost will be coming to visit soon. Fall, Said All introduces young readers to the concepts of adaptation, hibernation, and migration in preparation for winter. Because food sources become somewhat limited and the weather is harsher in many locations, people and animals must prepare for the elements in order to survive. Using vivid imagery and flowing rhyme, this children's story presents useful knowledge while painting an engaging portrait of the fall season.
