A summary of the spectrum of available models is also provided in each chapter. The extensive table of contents and the easy-to-use index put materials immediately at your fingertips.
Reviews / Votes
"The authors have met their primary objective of providing an overview of the spectrum of models that is available for a wide variety of ecosystems and ecological topics. The introductory sections of the chapters provide useful summaries of the characteristic features of the models in the various areas, and all the models are described in a standardized format which greatly facilitates general understanding and comparison... The authors do provide complete contact information (address, phone, fax, e-mail) for each model developer, which, in fact, may be one of the most valuable aspects of the book... The text should be a valuable reference for ecological modelers."-Ecological Engineering, 16 (2000) 303-304

The file format PDF always displays a book page identically on any hardware. This makes PDF suitable for complex layouts such as those used in textbooks and reference books (images, tables, columns, footnotes). Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook uses Adobe-DRM, a „hard” copy protection. If the necessary requirements are not met, unfortunately you will not be able to open the eBook. You will therefore need to prepare your reading hardware before downloading.
