DAVID M. JONES, PhD, is President and CEO of DMJ Advisors LLC andChairman of the Board of Directors of Aubrey G. Lanston & Co.Inc. From 1968 to 1972, he was vice president and financialeconomist at Irving Trust Company in New York, and previously hewas with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he was head ofthe Business Conditions Section and an economist for the DomesticTrading Desk. Dr. Jones received his MA and PhD from the Universityof Pennsylvania and his BA with honors from Coe College. He haswritten Fed Watching and Interest Rate Projections: A PracticalGuide; Politics of Money: The Fed Under Alan Greenspan; and, mostrecently, The Buck Starts Here: How the Federal Reserve Can Make orBreak Your Financial Future. Dr. Jones has also lectured at manyseminars and banking schools. He is a frequently quoted Fedcommentator and often appears on CNBC, CNN, and other network newsshows.
