With the Mantrainer army routed, and Hansett Laughlon dead, it seemed that matters might be improving for Reshania. Of course, Queen Jezzalia Terrantis knew better. There were still the armies of Hanadar and Lopaller to deal with in the east, and then a peace to manufacture to prevent another such war. Still, she had full confidence in her advisors, such as her lover and bodyguard, Sethalis Fielder, and her half-sister, the formidable Princess Shazzelle. Jezzalia was going to need every bit of their support, too. In Mantrainer, Hansett's successors were fighting for the crown, and trouble was stirring in the Northern Duchy of Reshania.
