Steffi Hobuß (Dr. phil.), geb. 1964, lehrt und forscht an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg und leitet dort das Leuphana College. Sie studierte Philosophie und Germanistik und promovierte in Philosophie an der Universität Bielefeld mit einer Arbeit über Wittgenstein. Für ihre Lehre wurde sie 2009, 2011 und 2015 mit Preisen ausgezeichnet und war 2010 Gastprofessorin an der Karlstads Universitet, Schweden. Sie habilitiert zur Theorie der visuellen Wahrnehmung bei Platon und Aristoteles.
