From the Reviews:
This is a good selection from the works of Ernst Specker who 'made decisive contributions towards shaping directions in topology, algebra, mathematical logic, combinatorics and algorithmic over the last 40 years'. The following are a few points which go to the credit of this publication. the selection of 30 out of the total 42 publications of Specker is done in the best possible way . the comments in English on each of these papers written by one of the four editors helps the reader to get a clear idea about the content .. the complete bibliography and the list of Ph. D. theses written under the supervision of Specker are given.. 'The Story of a Friend' written by Jonas Meon on Specker gives an idea about the man and his life-sketch. (T. The file format PDF always displays a book page identically on any hardware. This makes PDF suitable for complex layouts such as those used in textbooks and reference books (images, tables, columns, footnotes). Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook uses Watermark-DRM, a „soft” copy protection. This means that there are no technical restrictions to prevent illegal distribution. However, there is a personalised watermark embedded in the eBook that can be used to identify the purchaser of the eBook in the event of misuse and to provide evidence for legal purposes.
