Description
Murder, shipwrecks, running from the law and a
Beautiful woman. This is the world of Bobby Rafferty.
Bobby Rafferty has escaped with his daughter from
unjust Canadian custody and fled to a safe haven in Mexico.
Once there, he finds work with unscrupulous marine
salvagers and unwittingly becomes an accomplice to the
Murder of a Lloyds ship inspector.
He is left for dead on a sinking ship but survives and returns to seek revenge
as well as the monies owed to him. During his pursuit
of a psychotic named Howie Morgan he finds himself
inadvertently paired with a beautiful woman, Rachel, who
has come seeking justice for her brother, the murdered inspector.
In their search for the dangerous and bizarre Howie
Morgan, Rachel and Bobby encounter a cast of unsavory
and treacherous characters.
This fast-paced thriller culminates violently and unexpectedly on the sultry sunbaked
Southern Texas coast of South Padre Island.

Person
After graduating from university, I travelled, lived and worked in many parts of the world. Ship salvage in southeast Texas was one such sojourn - 'Last of the Good Guys' came from that experience. Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, I had solid, working-class parents and excellent country childhood experiences, living in the freedom of open space. I have taught at various colleges throughout Canada. I have had brief jail time in five countries; Canada, Texas, France, Turks and Caicos, and a brief state sponsored residence in Istanbul - all of it a learning experience (worst stay - Istanbul and distant second -Turks and Caicos).
I live with my wife in a small town in Ontario. My children are grown; one of them a PHD candidate and the other, a soldier - Proud of them both. I don't know how they survived me.

I am presently working on a, 'Th3 K1ng 0f K1ng5' - A mature teen action/adventure story.
I cannot complain about my life - It has been interesting and, at times, challenging. But I am better for all of it.
