Safe Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy: An Illustrated Atlas by Mohammad Ibrarullah and SS Sikora deals with preoperative workup, especially and when how to anticipate a difficult gall bladder (GB) and detect common bile duct (CBD) stones. Full chapters justifiably deal with surgical anatomy and the critical view of safety (CVS)- the mool mantra (Sanskrit: the key incantation) of LC. The book illustrates and describes the step-by-step approach to the technique of LC in presence of normal as well as abnormal (aberrant) anatomy, to perform a safe cholecystectomy in not only easy but even in difficult cases. The Atlas is a treasure house of excellent quality well-labeled images and videos with supplementary explanatory and easy-to-read text. The book is invaluable, and the authors have deep knowledge and vast experience in not only performing laparoscopic cholecystectomy but aslo managing the complications of laparoscopic cholecystectomy.V. This book (and the accompanying videos) offer a great learning tool for residents or general surgeons who would like to review possible complications and troubleshooting prior to a difficult gallbladder. Other books [...] review the steps of preoperative, operative, and postoperative care and general options for complications, but do not provide an in-depth atlas and review of almost all possible scenarios that can occur when performing laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

The file format PDF always displays a book page identically on any hardware. This makes PDF suitable for complex layouts such as those used in textbooks and reference books (images, tables, columns, footnotes). Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook uses Adobe-DRM, a „hard” copy protection. If the necessary requirements are not met, unfortunately you will not be able to open the eBook. You will therefore need to prepare your reading hardware before downloading.
