Writer and artist ILYA draws on more than thirty years of professional experience - as an internationally published comics creator and author, but also as an educator. Since 1990 he has designed and delivered workshops on the art of drawing for schools, colleges, galleries, museums, libraries, youth groups and prisons, across the UK as well as abroad. His Manga Drawing Kit (2005) was an international bestseller, resulting in co-editions in French, German, Spanish and more. How to Draw Comics is a new title for 2016.
