5 Star NetGalley Review This was a book both my son and I could enjoy. I love visiting the National Parks and have shared that love with my son. The book is full of great information and facts about the park. The book is full of fun and engaging pictures! Highly recommend this book to people who want to introduce their young readers to the national parks.

5 Star NetGalley Review When Scout Moore travels to the Great Smoky Mountains with her brother Wesley and their parents, they have all sorts of adventures: blacksmithing, seeing wildlife like elk and fireflies, camping, making s'mores, and meeting a little girl named Jolene with a butterfly on her nose (a cute nod to Tennessee native Dolly Parton).
But they also learn some valuable lessons while searching for the Great Smoky Mountains' mysterious "sacred harp" - to find the beauty in nature as well as in one's self.
The illustrations by Jeffrey Ebbeler are absolutely adorable, filled with lots of color and animation. Author Theresa Howell does a great job of creating a sweet story filled with educational and inspirational messages in "Scout Moore, Junior Ranger: Great Smoky Mountains," due out July 1. This book, as well as the others in the Scout Moore Series, will become instant family favorites.
Five stars out of five.
