Dwight Houweling, Ph.D., P.Eng. is the ZeeLung process team leader at SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions where he leads a variety of R&D activities related to development and commercialization of membrane aeration biofilm technology. Prior to joining SUEZ, Dwight worked with CH2M HILL on the design and optimization of municipal sewage plants and as a process model developer for the industry leading BioWin (TM) software package. In addition to this book, Dwight has authored or co-authored dozens of technical papers and co-wrote a chapter for the Water Environment Federation (WEF) book on shortcut nitrogen removal. Dwight is married with three children and is motivated by the goal of environmental sustainability so that the world his children and grandchildren inherit will be a good one.
