A family of four went to an island in the Bermuda Triangle. The father, George, wanted to do DNA research on animals and the mother wanted to create something akin to a Garden of Eden resort. Son, Gary, shared interests with Dad while son, Joe, shared interests with Mom. It was questionable as to who controlled the island and the DARPA agency of the US government had a curious interest in George's doings. George died and Gary took over George's work in an old WWII Nazi lab. Gary's work started to move toward experiments with DNA and vaccines and questionably bioweapons.
There were natives on the volcano island. It was rumored that the natives were related to the Nephilim of the bible. It was suspected that the natives had some involvement with an ancient gold ship wreck. Phenomenon that looked like space ships was seen and they seemed to have something to do with the gold.
To help his work, Gary decided to build a casino on the island. That was less than desirable with Mom's desire to have hr Christianly Garden of Eden resort.
