Brooke needed one moment to catch her breath. To get away from the ex who abused her. Away from the parents who were taking his side. She needed one moment to think, to figure out her next move.

Kainen wasn't sure what to think of the snarky woman stranded with her Harley on the side of the road with a wrench in her hand and a wicked gleam in her eye. All he knew was that she needed help, and he was going to give it to her in any way he could...He just needed to figure out how to do that while keeping his head and that wrench from making contact.
From wild rapids to zip lining, Kainen would follow her all over Alaska to help her find that strength, that courage that she couldn't see. He was going to make sure that she had that one moment to find herself.
