Janice Harrell primarily wrote young adult novels in the horror and romance genres. She is best known for her Vampire Twins and Vampire's Love series. Her other works include
Wild Times at West Mount High,
Flashpoint,
The Darkroom, and the Andie and the Boys series. She received an Bachelor's degree from Eckerd College and a PhD from the University of Florida. In her spare time, Harrell traveled the world and was a liberal activist. She passed away in 2018.
