Jemima Martingale is enjoying her first London Season, although "enjoying" might be putting it a little too strongly. There is a good deal of unnecessary dancing, a lot of tiresome flirting and so many rules to follow that she would happily flee back to Cornwall, given half the chance. Still, it is a distraction from a - if not broken heart - then one that is a little bruised. Jemima had survived four dreadful days in March with the help of Baron St Trevone, but he disappeared without a word. Now she is trying to behave like a proper debutante and regretting her life choices, right up until the night the Bad Baron returns, appearing at Almacks and determined to rekindle their romance. Can the man be trusted? And, more to the point, what is Jemima to do about the dreadful Seduction Society, led by the urbane, immensely popular Duke of Cranford. Jemima quickly learns that wickedness is stalking the innocent and she has always had a problem with unruly men. She needs to find a way to stop Cranford and the sooner the better, especially when it becomes obvious his interest has turned in her direction...

Person
I love to write and it feels like I've been doing it forever, making up stories in my head. Reading has always been my first love and I realized at an early age that a good story stays with you for a long time. Not so much the words but the sense of time and place. With so many worlds chasing through my head, I write a lot of genres; romance, suspense, young adult and urban fantasy.
I live in Australia with my partner, my children and a house full of animals.
